The Medicine program prepares health professionals with a strong scientific foundation, critical thinking, and ethics, capable of managing medical processes, applying clinical, epidemiological, and research methods, and promoting health and well-being in diverse contexts. The program prepares future physicians with a humanistic outlook, social responsibility, and a vocation of service.

Admission Requirements

Hold a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Color copy of the national identity card or citizenship card, or passport for international applicants.

Copy of high school transcript or academic record.

Color copy of the voting certificate from the most recent elections or popular consultation.

Have passed the University Leveling Course.

Generate original ideas in diverse contexts, promoting the association of concepts and the identification of relationships among factors to address challenges innovatively, while maintaining an open and flexible attitude toward change with a critical approach to implementing original and creative solutions.
Develop a logical and structured sequence of research processes autonomously and creatively to generate new knowledge and apply and strengthen existing knowledge, collecting and analyzing data clearly and coherently, while maintaining a critical and ethical approach throughout all stages of the research process.
Develop care protocols based on medical and scientific knowledge through constant updating, which allows students to demonstrate abilities and skills within the framework of ethics and with a proactive attitude in order to solve the health problems that affect their patients.
Differentiate accurate diagnoses and evidence-based treatments to identify outpatient or emergency clinical situations, carrying out procedures through care protocols and managing services and resources efficiently, honestly, and responsibly in order to achieve the proposed therapeutic objectives.
Identify the patient’s health conditions, recognizing medical and non-medical problems, analyzing decisions in high-pressure situations, and facing the challenge of combating disease in order to evaluate results in a disciplined manner, demonstrating responsibility and sound therapeutic judgment.
Analyze clinical and epidemiological studies critically and objectively, which allows students to apply evidence-based medical criteria and daily practice for the responsible and ethical management of patients.
