The Nursing program prepares well-rounded professionals in clinical care and the human life cycle, grounded in the epistemological foundations of nursing and in administrative, educational, and research processes. The program prepares nurses who are capable of responding to the population’s health needs and problems in both hospital and community settings.

Identify different pathologies in patients, using clinical knowledge of nursing standards and protocols to make clinical decisions and develop research activities that significantly improve patient care with efficiency and responsibility.
Demonstrate knowledge of preparing the patient environment, using clinical techniques and procedures to identify emergency situations and assess safety and infection-control aspects in order to exercise leadership in professional practice.
Apply physical patient assessment by performing psychological and emotional assessment of the patient, evaluating the function of organs and systems, and developing patient care planning to improve practices by establishing appropriate care objectives and strategies with responsibility and empathy.
Develop an accurate nursing diagnosis by establishing care-management objectives, designing intervention planning, and proposing the implementation of the hospitalized patient’s care plan in order to integrate appropriate interventions while demonstrating ethics and proactivity in professional actions.
