Research Department
The research activity of Universidad Tecnológica ECOTEC is led by the Research Department. It is developed based on research lines that are aligned with the priorities of the National Development Plan (PNBV), the Zonal Agenda 5 and 8, and the scientific research areas in Ecuador proposed by SENESCYT.
Research Description
The Research Department is responsible for contributing to the development of research at Universidad ECOTEC through the management of scientific, technological, humanistic, and ethical knowledge.
Research is assumed as an essential component of its academic work and social responsibility, not only as a formal process of systematization, creation, appropriation, and dissemination of knowledge, but also as a transversal axis within its curricula.
It is also considered a means for developing reflective, critical, creative, and purposeful thinking that contributes to solving scientific and socio-cultural problems, transforming society, and advancing science, technology, art, and innovation at local, regional, and international levels.
