On November 19 and 20, ECOTEC held a new edition of the Technology, University, and Society (TUS) Congress, bringing together leaders and experts from different countries to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of the digital revolution, ethics in artificial intelligence, educational innovation, and the strengthening of the university–business–society ecosystem—one of the essential pillars of contemporary higher education.
Over the two-day event, the University welcomed specialists from various fields who shared their knowledge through talks aimed at both students and faculty, encouraging reflection on the ethical and pedagogical challenges posed by the digital transformation currently underway worldwide.
Key topics included artificial intelligence applied to higher education, disruptive technological applications, digital governance, educational inclusion mediated by TAC (Technologies for Learning and Knowledge), and research with a social purpose, among others.
The best scientific papers presented during the congress will be considered for publication in high-impact journals such as IJERI (Scopus Q2) and Formación Universitaria (Scopus Q3). In addition, the congress proceedings will carry an international ISBN.
The event concluded with a campus tour, where guests explored the University’s facilities and, with farewell remarks from ECOTEC authorities, brought another successful edition of the TUS Congress to a close.
