Admission Requirements
Hold a high school diploma (or equivalent).
Color copy of the National ID card (cédula) or passport with visa for international students.
Color copy of the voting certificate from the most recent elections or referendum.
Two recent, color, passport-size photos.
Have passed the University’s leveling (foundation) course.
Graduate Profile
Master the epistemological foundations of accounting and auditing sciences, from a research-oriented approach, for effective professional performance as an accountant, auditor, or advisor in public or private organizations.
Design, implement, and evaluate financial and administrative information systems to provide management tools that support decision-making in both the private and public sectors.
Master evaluation techniques by developing skills to analyze accounting, financial, tax, corporate, and management topics; procedures for applying them; projections; risk measurement; among others—enabling the issuance of appropriate opinions in accordance with International Standards on Auditing, contributing to the proper functioning of organizations.
Lead accounting areas within institutions, being responsible for organizing information flows that support the issuance of organizational financial reports.
Practice as a consultant—either independently or as part of specialized firms—in areas such as Tax Planning, Design and Evaluation of Internal Control Systems, Financial Statement Analysis, Project Evaluation, Cost System Analysis, and Expert Reports for judicial purposes.
