Objective
The objective of the program is to strengthen the multidisciplinary academic background of the highest level, for the formation of integral professionals, who become experts, capable of understanding and analyzing international and geopolitical problems and challenges arising from the different links between politics, economics and law, both nationally, regionally and globally, seeking effective and sustainable solutions. At the same time they are able to project and design social, cultural and economic policies, according to the needs of Ecuador projected in the world.
Learning Outcomes
- Deepens the knowledge about the historical evolution of the processes related to international relations in different development contexts, analyzing the elements that characterize the processes of international relations in the current Latin American region.
- Manages the conceptualization of public ceremonial and protocols in the context of diplomatic institutions, developing competences about social norms and customs in international relations.
- Uses the aspects and elements of the evolution of International Relations, explaining the significant and essential elements of the international political system and its particularities, in function of the management of diplomatic and consular institutions.
- Addresses current situations of Ecuador’s international relations in the global fabric and diplomatic work, explaining the essential elements that are developed and have significant impact in terms of globalization and existing problems.
Admission requirements
- Presentation of the admission form with the requested information and original signatures.
- Two color copies of identity card.
- Two color copies of passport and visa (applies to foreigners). Two sets of updated resumes.
- Two color copies of the 3rd level degree granted by the university.
- Two color copies of the national or foreign degree registered in the Senescyt registry. Certificate of English level A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- Two letters of academic recommendation with original signatures.
- Two passport-size color photos.
- Two color copies of CONADIS card (in case of having a disability).
