General Objective
Train future professionals in the field of care and human life cycle, from the epistemological foundations of nursing and administrative, educational and research processes in hospital and community areas to respond to problems and needs of the population.

Learning Outcomes
- Identify nursing theories and models from different care perspectives and their implications in the professional field.
- Compare, through the use of indicators, clinical cases, and biostatistics, the morbidity and mortality rate in a specific region or country on different age groups.
- Apply the fundamentals of administrative process through planning, organization, direction and control of nursing and health services management.
- – Apply the basic and theoretical concepts of biostatistics to identify the different numerical techniques for the collection, organization, analysis and interpretation of data.
- Apply procedures and techniques of alternative and ancestral medicine to contribute to the integral health of the individual and the family.
- Distinguish the different diets that adequately satisfy nutritional needs in different pathological states.
- Formulate, based on methodological tools, projects to satisfy the needs of the population.
- Recognize the psychosocial problems and mental disorders of individuals and families, within the framework of current policies.
- Master the bioethical foundations in the context of comprehensive human being care in the hospital, family and community environment.
- Develop comprehensive quality care in the processes of promotion, prevention, recovery and rehabilitation of a disease.
- Promote comprehensive health care, with the use of techniques and tools typical of the nursing field and with ethical and humanistic principles.
- Prevent diseases by promoting knowledge and preventive methods, promoting social well-being and adequate quality of life.
